Digital Inclusivity Commitment

At Silicon Softwares, we firmly believe that the internet and software applications must be usable and accessible to every individual. We continually enhance user experience across all devices by adhering to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards.

01

Our Inclusivity Commitment

Digital accessibility is integral to our software engineering ethos. Whether building our corporate website or engineering custom applications for our clients, we apply universal design principles that empower users with visual, auditory, motor, or cognitive impairments to interact with our technology seamlessly.

02

Conformance Standards (WCAG 2.1 Level AA)

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Silicon Softwares strives for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance across all public digital interfaces. Our practices strictly embrace the four core pillars of digital accessibility:

Perceivable

Information and user interface components are presented in ways all users can perceive (text alternatives, high contrast, readable scales).

Operable

Interface components and navigation are entirely operable via keyboard without trapping user focus.

Understandable

Information and user interface operations are clear, predictable, and free of confusing jargon.

Robust

Content is compatible with current and future assistive technologies, including screen readers and Braille displays.

03

Built-in Accessibility Features

Our website incorporates the following proactive accessibility features:

  • Full Keyboard Navigability: All interactive elements, navigation links, theme switches, and consultation buttons can be navigated sequentially via the Tab and Shift+Tab keys with visible outline focus rings.
  • High-Contrast Color Options: Thoughtfully calibrated contrast ratios exceeding the 4.5:1 minimum threshold for standard text, supported by an instant Dark/Light mode toggle.
  • Screen Reader Compatibility: Proper semantic HTML5 tags (`
    `, `
    `, `
    `, `
    `, `
`), accurate ARIA attributes (`aria-label`, `aria-expanded`), and meaningful alternative text for all graphics.
  • Fluid Typography & Zooming: Text size scales cleanly up to 200% without breaking page layouts or triggering horizontal clipping.
  • Motion Sensitivity Controls: Respects user OS-level preference for reduced motion (`prefers-reduced-motion: reduce`) by disabling unnecessary animations.
04

Technical Specifications & Auditing

The accessibility of Silicon Softwares relies on modern standard technologies:

  • Semantic HTML5: Clean document outline with singular `

` per page and progressive heading hierarchies.

  • Modern CSS: Accessible focus outlines, responsive flex/grid layouts, and fluid viewport typography.
  • WAI-ARIA: Accessible Rich Internet Applications specifications where native HTML semantics require enhancement.

We audit our web interfaces using automated tools (Lighthouse Accessibility audits, axe-core) alongside manual screen reader testing (NVDA, VoiceOver).

05

Known Limitations & Continuous Remediation

Despite our diligent efforts, some third-party integrations—such as external mapping widgets, legacy PDF whitepapers, or third-party chatbot iframes—may not yet conform completely to WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We are actively collaborating with vendors and refining our custom components to eliminate remaining accessibility barriers.

06

Accessibility Feedback & Remediation Assistance

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Silicon Softwares. If you encounter an accessibility barrier or require content in an alternative format (e.g., accessible PDF, large text, or transcript), please notify us immediately:

Accessibility Desk: Email: info@siliconsoftwares.com | Telephone: +91-(821) 006-3252. We endeavor to respond to accessibility inquiries within two (2) business days.
